I've been receiving messages on my old gmail account, invitations for various things, and so on. Many of them are people I know on this list, so I'm gently pointing out that I log into the two gmail accounts I kept, when I deleted most of them in my migration away from "free" email hosted by google and yahoo. I just noticed the various invitations, and am hoping that the well-meaning people who sent them to me will realize that if they are somehow finding me on G+, it's a mere echo, from before they tossed me for not having a real name.
The bad thing about those invites is that they're getting an automated response from my account telling them not to use it, but the invites are set up to discard any replies.
