Yves, We try to discourage it *because* sajobs exists. Most people who aren't looking for a new position consider job postings noise rather than signal.
If nothing else, your post has probably increased the number of people subscribed (and if it hasn't, let me help): If you're interested in getting job postings, LOPSA has an SA Jobs list ( https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sajobs). The idea is that it can be an interim place until the job board is completed for the website. --Matt On Thu, Mar 13, 2014 at 6:44 PM, Yves Dorfsman <[email protected]> wrote: > > Is it ok to post jobs on discuss? > > I am aware of sajobs@lopsa, but am afraid the readership is fairly small > (I wasn't subscribed myself, even though I was looking for a job/contract a > few months ago). > > -- > Yves. > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss > This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators > http://lopsa.org/ > -- LITTLE GIRL: But which cookie will you eat FIRST?
