I've got two machines connected via an HDMI switch and a USB switch. When the Mac is active, it sends sounds through the HDMI port to the speakers in the monitor. The Windows box is hooked up to an external pair of speakers. However, I can't control the volume under OSX when connected to the monitor. Any suggestions for forwarding it over to the Windows box so it can use the real speakers and I can have volume control? The whole idea behind the switches is so that I don't have to unplug stuff to flip between the two nodes. :)
