As past and potential future LISA attendees, the talks committee for LISA '15 would like to solicit your feedback. Realizing that there are some things that we can change easily (content), some things that we can't change at all (location, number of rooms), and some things that could possibly changed with some work (arrangement, format, organization), please help us to make the conference something that you want to attend. This particular solicitation is going to focus on content, but we can discuss other ideas with the broader conference committee as needed. We have some good feedback from the end of last conference, but new years bring changes.
What would you like to see at the conference? Are there any hot technologies or speakers that you think are a must? Is there anything that you think should be avoided? Reply to the list if you prefer, or send your reply to [email protected]. The call for participation for the LISA 2015 conference is here: https://www.usenix.org/conference/lisa15/call-for-participation And finally, perhaps obvious but best to assert it: The idea gets a better shot at implementation if you can be specific about a preferred speaker, contact information, or can provide an introduction. Also, USENIX is a 501c3 with limited funds. The basic speaker compensation is an all access pass to the show. In cases of financial need, hotel and occasionally travel costs can be discussed.
