I started and ran a successful chapter for three years (with the help of an awesome co-founder), served two years on the board, and co-chaired LOPSA-East for two years. I gave my time and earned the right to call a spade a spade. I have a ten month old daughter now and don't feel obligated to give more just to justify speaking up when decisions are being made that cause harm to an organization I care deeply about. If time was short this year it was because planning was not done sufficiently in advance. The date of this year's election was not some mystery that nobody knew about until the last second. I want what we all want, the success of LOPSA. The Leadership Committee has a great responsibility thrust upon them to carry out an election each year that best positions the organization for that success. If the fine folks of the Leadership Committee do not have the time to ensure that is taken care of then we should acknowledge that and not make excuses for things. > > > All the best, > -- > Warner Moore > Leadership Committee Chair > LOPSA > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > Discuss@lists.lopsa.org > https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss > This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators > http://lopsa.org/
