I am personally displeased with rackspace's reliability and support of their "cloud" stuff. I was pleased, long ago, with their actual colo services, but that was the last time I ever tried anything of theirs, and didn't end up feeling burnt. To be fair, I haven't used their openstack. While amazon has their own quirks and problems, there's some advantage to familiarizing with them, just because it's what everyone knows, so you all speak a common language, and you can develop outward from there. Openstack.org does hosting themselves. If anybody does openstack hosting right, I would hope it's them. I've been incredibly pleased with Azure, but a lot of the Azure benefit comes from using the Microsoft tools, so if you're not going to develop on a Microsoft stack, then Azure is probably just mediocre compared to the others. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.lopsa.org https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
