I was at the MariaDB ServerFest in Helsinki last Autumn, and I really liked the close interaction with the many interesting participants: big and advanced users, developers, university students, service providers, etc. It is an excellent opportunity to meet many of the core developers, and hopefully a lot of other great people! I will be presenting at the event myself; my talk is titled: "MariaDB Replication – Fantastically Flexible and Fragile".
