Hi David! You need to import the sql files into MariaDB in the correct database (the database used by MediaWiki).
This is very basic SQL and DB management, not complex at all but you need to read a couple of documentations first. See: https://mariadb.com/docs/server/mariadb-quickstart-guides/mariadb-restore-guide https://uni.mariadb.org/dba/backup-and-restore/ Regards, -- Faustin Lammler MariaDB Foundation GPG: F652 BCD1 1AA8 8975 F010 48A5 390A 2F27 832A 5C79 David Axtell via discuss <discuss@lists.mariadb.org>, 29/07/2025 – 21:29:02 (-0500): > C:/Users/DAVEAX~1/AppData/Local/Temp/lu1570077thes.tmp/lu1570077thf6.tmp/SQL%20to%20wiki%20message.htm > > I am trying to reconstitute an old MediaWiki ( version 1.11.0 ) on an HP > laptop ( Win 11 ) using a current version of Media Wiki ( version 1.42.5 ). > I have created the basic wiki ( figure 1 ) > > > [image: image.png] > > I would like to populate it with data from the old wiki.
