More of a general FYI than a comment on your particular project's already existing use of PowerMock: We're trying to write new tests without using PowerMock, as much as possible, and there has been some work done e.g. by Stephen to actively convert existing PowerMock-based tests to without. Not saying this is a general rule, just explaining why e.g. myself I'm focusing more on new infrastructure for end2end component tests, and intro. that in netvirt & genius, than being particular concerned about this issue related to PowerMock. Just FYI.
