Hi,
I use ODL as network controller with existing OpenStack environment.
Then I notice that I need to monitor network status, especially the link status.
The initial purpose of monitoring link status is for find the network
congestion in time and shorten the Fail-over latency. This purpose is highly
similar with sFlow.
Moreover, OvS deliver sFlow agent that I could use sFlow for monitoring. Or,
Zabbix and Nagios might fit this scenario. But I still consider native ODL
network monitoring function would be the first option.
I took a look at the SNMP southbound plugin, and not sure whether it could meet
my initial purpose.
Is there any project or documentation for monitoring network status by ODL?
Any ideas might help.
