Hey David, Yep, the official Docker images are out of date as you found. I maintain those in Integration/Packaging, so it's my fault.
I'd really like to get this TODO done, adding automation for our Packer builds of containers/VMs: https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/INTPAK-12 Automatically pushing containers to DockerHub is tracked here: https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/INTPAK-28 And just generally getting them up-to-date (maybe manually for now) is tracked here: https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/INTPAK-56 Should I make doing this a higher priority? As-is, it's way down my TODO list, or I'm hoping someone else shows up and handles it (note that I'm not assigned to the Jiras).
