Hi Robert,

Thanks for letting us know that this issue is fixed in later releases. Since we
are using Nitrogen-SR3 release, we would like to know whether there will be any
repercussion if we delete *older operational snapshot files and keep only
latest file* and *restart Karaf.*

ie., Delete these 2 *-opreational-* files
-rw-rw-r-- 588369268 10 14 17:30
snapshot-member-1-shard-default-operational-*40001*-1571041824314
-rw-rw-r    725285773 10 14 19:26
snapshot-member-1-shard-default-operational-*80001*-1571048746771

*and restart Karaf only with this file.*
*-rw-rw-r-- 1393540512 10 14 20:54
snapshot-member-1-shard-default-operational-*120002*-1571054003364*

*Please confirm this.*

Based on the comments made to checkin, it seems this can be reproduced only
when journal is deleted and snapshots directory is retained. However in our
customer environment journal is not deleted, but still we noticed multiple
operational shard files. We are suspecting when it takes more time to save huge
snapshot (1.3G in our case), delete of older snapshot file fails. Can you
please comment on this also.
