We need a map layer for an application and are looking for a candidate.
We want to be able to move tracks and other information over maps. The
update rate is rather high. Currently we use WVS that we display with
our own code.
Can GRASS be used as an under lay for map data and display our track
data over the map data? We need to use Digital Nautical Chart data,
among others, for the map data.
Is there an API to interface with GRASS other than through scripts?
