Not yet, but I think there would be enough of us California OsGeos to do an exhibit if booth, some gas and food was put into a marketing budget.

Space for an exhibit must be premium if they want $1000 for a non-profit. We'd have to bring a wall of screens to match that kind of bling.

A session might be cheaper, how many talks do we need for one and what other requirements are there. It looked like it might be limited to prexisting specialty groups.

Are there any plans for OSGeo presence at AGU fall meeting in San Francisco, Dec. 15-19 ?
(15,000 expected participants) - http://www.agu.org/meetings/fm08/

The deadline for session proposals is June 13 and OSGeo would fit with

Earth and Space Science Informatics
http://www.agu.org/meetings/fm08/program/program_main_SessionProposal.php

The exhibition is usually huge.

If there isn't enough interest in special session or exhibit participation we can still submit individual presentations for sessions based on applications - I plan to do that if we don't
get a session,
