Due to high demand, the deadline to submit sessions and
abstracts for the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Association of
American Geographers has been extended to November 18, 2009.

About the AAG Annual Meeting

Join fellow geographers, GIS specialists, and environmental
scientists from around the world at AAG 2010 for the very latest
in research, policy, and applications in geography,
sustainability, and GIScience. The program will feature:

Presentations by leading scholars and researchers from more than
60 countries 

An international networking reception 

Exhibitions showcasing recent scholarly publications, advanced
geographic technologies, and expahding employment opportunities 

Numerous field trips to explore the rich cultural and physical
geography of Washington and the surrounding region 

In addition to many scholarly presentation, AAG 2010 will also
feature opportunities for interactions with government agencies
and will include keynote speakers from nonprofit groups and other
influential nongovernmental organizations located in the nation's
capital. The District of Columbia is home to 174 foreign
embassies, many high profile NGOs, and numerous universities.
