Yes, the OL class is on github. We'll probably add it to OL trunk later, when some other issues are resolved. There is also an OpenScales class that works in the same fashion. It's currently not possible to run the server in a WSGI container, although I think mod_python would be more suitable given the nature of the server. Please add the issue on Github.
