Thanks Dave. We want to broaden and expand on the work done by the ICA Working
Group on Open Source Geospatial Technologies over the last 3 years. One of the
key areas that we hope to expand is on the Education and Training in Open
Source GIS globally. We will be working to promote OSGeo within and outside ICA
through this.

I welcome any thoughts/suggestions on how we can build up activities for this.
Once I get feedback from everyone I will send the list of priority areas that
we will be working on.

Best wishes,

Suchith

Technologies

Congratulations Suchith,

Would you be able to explain what types of activities the Commission would be
expected to take on in this capacity?

Dave
