Anne has been actively working to spread open source GIS among students and researchers through various initiatives (for example being OSGeo Google Summer of Code administrator and mentor over the last 4 years). I have worked with Anne in the "Geo for All" initiative and Anne is the coordinator for Asia & Australia. Anne has been working actively to further our education activities globally.
