This might also nicely link with some ideas on the importance of having National level strategy for Open Principles in Geospatial [1] The workshops are on May 25th and there are already good range of submitted workshop proposals on QGIS Cartography Tips to workshops on Advanced Processing http://www.sigte.udg.edu/jornadassiglibre/en/international-qgis-user-and-developer-conference/workshops-qgis/ Our colleagues at University of Girona's GIS and Remote Sensing Service (SIGTE) are heavily involved in helping organise this. Thanks to them for their efforts to organise this excellent conference and please join the event to learn and share new ideas.
