* according to the Google Summer of Code 2017 Timeline [1], tomorrow at
=> March 20 16:00 UTC
student's application period will start.
* There will be time until
=> April 3 16:00 UTC Student application deadline
to sketch and refine the student's applications.
This is a good chance and time now for
* OSGeo projects and guest projects to update the ideas lists [2]
* Mentors to update the mentors list [3]
* Former OSGeo-GSoC-students from earlier years to contribute and volunteer as
e.g. co-mentors
* Would-be proactive students to internalize the recommendations [4] and
discuss and refine the great GSoC ideas with the communities!
