My feedback: - The topo background graphic proposed is a strong visual, but comes across as vintage / retro / dated to my eyes (steampunk!). It does evolve from our current branding (see slide 2 here <https://www.slideshare.net/DirkFrigne/osgeo-think-global-act-local?qid=22fda894-eda8-4161-acca-1be6d1a323ce&v=&b=&from_search=8>), but I am not sure it reflects modern mapping technologies. Wonder if we could go for a blueprint vector+note visualization of the data behind mapping....
- Tempted to use the current light-green as one of the colors for logo3, because many <https://osgeo.nl> local chapters <http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Aust-NZ> have taken the color rather than the visual elements as a base, others look amazing <http://www.gfoss.it> doing there own thing. -- Jody Garnett On 28 April 2017 at 13:54, Jeffrey Johnson <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All, > > We can share the initial cut of the branding process.
