Dear colleagues,

The Research Data Alliance ( https://www.rd-alliance.org        )  is a 
community-driven organization that brings together data scientists, computer 
scientists, and domain scientists with one common goal – to remove the barriers 
to data sharing and reuse. The RDA Plenaries are working meetings held every 
six months in different places around the world focused on helping move the 
community forward in creating tangible deliverables that improve data sharing 
across disciplines, technologies, and countries.

RDA Europe is offering travel support to Early Career European Researchers & 
Scientists working with Data to attend the 10th RDA Plenary meeting, to be held 
in Montrèal, Canada, 19-21 September 2017 .The programme has offered grant 
winners the opportunity to engage directly and support the work of RDA Working 
and Interest groups, to learn and contribute and become a part of the RDA 
global data sharing community.

Those interested please apply directly through the RDA website (details below) 
before 14th July 2017, midnight CEST. All candidates will be notified of the 
outcome of their application after the 31st  July 2017.

On a different note, i would also welcome those interested in expanding 
Geospatial Data Science to join Geospatial IG of RDA that i am chairing.  The 
Geospatial IG will be planning a  meeting  at Montreal to keep building ideas 
for the global research agenda for Geospatial Data Science . More details will
