An update from the foss4ge code sprint Nicolas Roelandt and myself have been working on the osgeo website.
But first here is a link (three days old) to the beta-website: http://osgeo.getinteractive.nl This shows the first couple pages as the wireframes and visual design come together; and will become more complete as content is migrated from our website; and new content is filled in from documents and forms: Like this one for projects: Software Projects <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1zOVOTtbGzIuhcfwHg9GYrJ-NErxl_DmFnTlBM3qBndE/edit?usp=drive_web> And this one for service providers: Service Providers <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1y1yPm4OQLpVz2XkibPYSzikh7Il7XEuqWDP2GZfHzdQ/edit?usp=drive_web> Or the list of partners and friends the board has been working on: Partner Content and Logos <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zg3SnmNyLmvwAZBkxwrdJ9hHy1p07M7YslliHNm5928/edit?usp=drive_web> If you cannot stand google forms I understand - we will have the ability to edit the beta-website when it is hooked up to our OSGeo LDAP service. The beta-website is used to play test the website, trying out the user experience of navigating, finding and understanding information. While there are only a few pages now, check back each day and you can watch this project finally starting to come together. -- Jody Garnett
