Yes, I have done several video streaming application on iPhone of video sharing website, So I think that your users will be happy if they can can view your videos from iPhone. Please see youtube application on iPhone, so you will imagine what your iPhone application will be. On iPhone client, I think the best format will be mp4 or 3pg is ok. I just need you provide one webservice like JSON or SOAP (I prefer JSON).
I don't do application for free. It's commercial, you will charge some money depends on how big application you want! Looking forwards your responose soon!
