We're expecting to release Plumi 3 this week which is running on Plone 3
and features a transcoding daemon. As part of this release we've set up
a manual for Plumi on FlossManuals.

The current installation section is being overhauled at the moment and
should be updated shortly. You can find the current information here:

http://en.flossmanuals.net/Plumi/Installation

Another Plumi installer has gone through the effort of getting Plumi
running on BSD. Given Macs are BSD based, this may be of assistance to
you in getting Plumi 3 running on your Mac. His notes can be found at:

Would you be interested in upgrading to Plumi 3? Perhaps between the BSD
guide, the new manual's installation section and some help from this
list, we can get a "How to" guide for the Mac set up a well :)

Cheers,

Grant
