personally i think overriding the default plone setting of this folder, to
make it public instead of private, and then adding the setting to reverse
this (as dave has done below) is fine:
http://testing.plumi.org:16080/Plone/@@plumi-settings
the only thing remaining then is to add favourites to the author page to
bring these in.
