We installed plumi running through the regular installation instructions in
INSTALL.txt for version 4.2.1 and used the development version - devel.cfg
and are unable to play back a video. We are receiving
NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound. We adjusted the following lines in the
site.cfg prior to running buildout:

arch = linux64
user = admin:xxxx
supervisor-pass = xxxx
www-server-name = plumi.loc
www-videoserver-name = video.plumi.loc

We have set up plumi.loc and video.plumi.loc as 209.20.73.160. names are
resolved using host files on the server and clients. We are able to upload a
video and see that the transcoding has taken place as jpeg and mp4 files are
created but on the view of the video the jpeg does not show up (just double
quotes) and when you press to play the video in flowplayer we receive the
error. When hovering over the flowplayer the URL is
http://localhost:8888/transocoded/http/... (where everything following
transcoded is the actual path and I confirmed the mp4 file is actually
there).
We are assuming there is something simple and basic we missed and are
wondering if you had a minute to help resolve this. We access the site via
http://209.20.73.160/Plone as we are going directly through zope on port
8080.

We did try to create another domain - transcode.plumi.loc, bound to
localhost and to the external interface, but transcode daemon would not
start bound to anything but localhost. Is there any limitation to the
development instance that it can only be reviewed via local access?
