The current system to extract the duration does not always work, so some
videos are missing the duration. We didn't notice this so much in the
previous design, but in the new design this is much more apparent.
We could explore various ways of re-factoring how we get the duration from
videos and store it in the object, perhaps using ffmpeg itself.
