Just a few comments to help you with the documentation:
Most important: installation doc is on
https://github.com/plumi/plumi.app/blob/master/docs/INSTALL.txt
This is the only up to date doc for now. The flossmanual link should be
updated with new installation instructions!!!
Plumi now uses uwsgi instead of gunicorn.
Regarding plumi.skin,
--To change the global logo: file is
plumi.skin/plumi/skin/theme_resources/stylesheets/images/logo_wide.png
--portlets
For featured portlet, on the top right side, any News Item can appear
there, as long as it is categorized as 'featured-top' and it's state is
'Featured'. The title appears first, then the image, and on hover the
summary of the News Item.
You can customize the right column and footer by adding/removing portlets
by clicking their "Manage portlets" links
Example: http://new.plumi.org/@@manage-portlets
there the portlets can be added/removed and have their position changed,
as on Plone.
Settings
--On Plone Site Setup (eg http://new.plumi.org/@@overview-controlpanel)
there are a few options added for Plumi.
On the transcode control panel (http://new.plumi.org/@@transcode-
controlpanel). besides the existing options (damon address, profiles etc),
the option to show subtitles (from universalsubtitles.org), and to show
download button to embedded clips were added.
On plumi settings (http://new.plumi.org/@@plumi-controlpanel) the options
to Send Notifications to reviewers and admins or not, and also to change
the "Text to show after video upload"
