This sounds awesome! If anybody has a good response for him on how to
spread the word, feel free to email him (or I can pass it on).

Subject: [SkullSpace-Admin] Great new film on hackers - We Are Legion

Dear friends:

I wonder if you might be able to help me. I recently saw a terrific new film
called WE ARE LEGION: STORY OF THE HACKTIVISTS in Toronto and I am going to
screen it here at the Cinematheque in early November.

I would like to make sure the hacker community is aware of it and wondered
if you had any suggestions on how I can reach that community to help me
promote it in Winnipeg as well as across Canada. I told the distributor I
would like to help them get bookings across Canada and I sent them a list of
independent theatres who they are going to pitch.. If you have a list of any
other hacker organizations in other Canadian cities that would be valuable
as well.

I am not being paid for this, I just thought it is such a great film I would
love to see it play across the country and wondered if you had any thoughts
on helping me promote it thru the hacker community ?

Here is the synopsis :

WE ARE LEGION: The Story of the Hacktivists, takes us inside the complex
culture and history of Anonymous. "We Are Legion" tracks the evolution of
hacktivism from the ludicrous website 4 chan- a mish-mash of memes,
revolting images and heated discussions about Manga- through to the
formation of Anonymous, which builds its backbone from declaring an
international war on Scientology and gains it political purpose from
Wikileaks and the battle for free information on the internet. The film
explores early hacktivist groups like Cult of the Dead Cow and Electronic
Disturbance Theater, and then moves to Anonymous' own raucous and unruly
beginnings on the website 4Chan.Through interviews with current members -
some recently returned from prison, others still awaiting trial - as well as
writers, academics and major players in various "raids," WE ARE LEGION
traces the collective's breathtaking evolution from merry pranksters to a
full-blown, global movement, one armed with new weapons of civil
disobedience for an online world.

Much thanks for any suggestions
