Well, for what it's worth, I *don't* like it that way. But since you're doing a large class twice a week, I understand you don't want to move everything all the time.
In the future though, I think we do have to be more flexible about the classroom area: it's not just for official classes. That'd be a waste of space, for one thing. But more importantly, until there is sufficient light to work in the workshop, or usable space (clear and with power) in the new computer room, the classroom is the only reasonable place to do any sort of work that needs a table or workbench.
