I don't think they'll be room on today's agenda for passing this for the
sake of some vauge future.
In general, we probably want to have our shit together before we get
heavy on recruitment, we should just do the Comic Con thing because
we're alreacy commited and leave it at that.
On this basis, I'm going to cancel my plans to declare an "associate
membership" or "associate of Skullspace" by fiat on the wiki today as
per these two posts:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01061.html
and
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01062.html
That whole idea was as a marketting program and not as anything formaly
recognized by the bylaws. (thus I was going to just do it and ask for
forgivness later)
Given our circumstances, I don't think there's going to be enough people
engaged in marketting to make it real -- folks are going to be tied up
with finding (and fixing?) our future home.
The whole thing would be a wiki edit with no real people behind it.
If someone else wants to make that particular edit, go for it!
(but try to recruit somebody to be the "registrar of associates", we
shouldn't burden Jay)
