-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Siu's complaining aside, IMO let's just enact student pricing, unless there's anybody opposed. Having a vote for that sort of thing is nice to do, but we dont' have to.
So, if you're opposed to the idea, please let me know. If we get no serious opposition, let's just do it. For what it's worth, the reason I didn't do it isn't because I don't think we should, but because our future is so uncertain that it's a really difficult to to recruit people. At the same time, we need members to make future plans work, so it's a bit of a catch-22. Also, I was going to ask at the end if people still wanted to vote on it, but everybody kinda got up and left since it'd been 2.5 hours and when it seemed like the meeting was coming to an end everybody ran. So yeah, whatever. Let's just decree it. :P Ron On 2012-10-31 07:40, Roswyne wrote: > Nice cock-block. > > God forbid we have a scheduled vote as planned, which would help us attract > new members when we desperately need some. > > Its so nice to know that the board knows what's best for us and will > actively prevent us from making timely making group decisions, even when > we've already agreed to make time for it. > On Oct 30, 2012 2:27 PM, "Michael Loney" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Agreed, > > > > The student rate debate will not change in the next while. > > > > G Mike > > > > > > > > On Tue, Oct 30, 2012 at 2:22 PM, Courtney Lofchick > > <[email protected]>wrote: > > > >> Let's just wait.
