There is now a wireless link extending the Sksp network to Sksp2 on Donald. It still needs some optimization (Sksp side is crooked and not aimed, Sksp2 is just attached to a railing with the wire randomly draped down the fire stairwell; we're planning & getting landlord permission to install a sledmount on the roof) but at least now we can transparently move devices from one place to another.
Later in the week I'll setup a VLAN so the internet-side is bridged to Sksp2 and server owners could bring over their machines (hard mode: use a UPS to move your server while on, so users just lose connectivity for 5 minutes and then see the server come back with all their apps still running). Thanks to Justin and Adrian for their help, and HighSpeedCrow for donating all the mounting hardware and lending us a top-of-the-line radio link (it's worth a few $K so be careful if you're doing anything near it!) Card access at Sksp2 will be looked at after Tuesday's meetings.
