I was picturing setting the metal shelves as a freestanding "wall", and think 
that it might be feasible to rent the storage space on them. 

I know even some small projects of mine (like the dead Roomba) would fit in a 
mid-size rubbermaid bin, but not in the drawer of a filing cabinet. 

Let's talk more tomorrow night!
