Hey all, As I'm now a member of SkullSpace, I'm now allowed to use the space and host events.
I'm gonna use the space for a BJD meet on Sunday, Dec 9th from 1pm to 5pm. Some of you know, the hobby that I'm into is Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJD). AKA "the creepy dolls". It's more artsy than it is technological, though there have been owners of these Dolls that have modified them with a working robotic skeleton (though not in this community). However many are into Photography (using the dolls as their models), or Sewing/Knitting (making clothes), or simply modifying the dolls for custom dolls, and painting of the dolls (faces, tattoos, etc...). We can make these dolls our own in many ways. :) Also coming with the group is the boyfriend of one of my friends in the community, who is interested in joining SkullSpace. I've told him that Friday's are the best day to check SkullSpace out and get involved with some of the members, with the gaming and programming that happens. So he may just come in earlier and not on Dec 9th. Who knows! :) I'm working on getting it on the SkullSpace Calendar. I've told everyone in the Wpg BJD community that it won't be just us, and that other SkullSpace members may be there. They're all good with it. If you are there this day, the BJD Community follows the etiquette of asking before touching. :) So if anyone wants to hold or touch the dolls that are there, please ask the owner.
