Over the weekend, workbenches, tables, and shelving were brought in to
SkullSpace from Nate's old office. I am happy to say that we now have two
work areas with lots of bench space, and even a large boardroom table which
is perfect for board games. The tools have been sorted and put in an
easily-accessible area, and all boxes have been unpacked. There is ample
member storage now available on shelves and in cabinets. I am in the
process of labeling containers.

Thanks to Richard, Thor, Nate, David and his friend for helping with moving
all the stuff this weekend. Other minor fixes include mounting the first
aid kit on the wall in the kitchen, and mopping the front entranceway. I
went with Thor to Rona and bought four extra mats to place at the front, so
please take your shoes off when you get inside. We also dry-mopped the
floors.

One frustrating thing we found out is that it seems that many of the
outlets along the walls share the same breaker. We connected the drink
machine over near the front entrance, and when I used a vacuum halfway down
the space, the breaker blew and took out the projector/media centre PC with
it. We will have to look into either splitting some power lines or getting
more information from the landlord on how the electrical was done.

There are a number of items that I took photos of because I don't think
they are useful/worth keeping:

- Large CRT TV, approx. 25" (not yours Ben!) - http://imgur.com/tpw4C
- Polishing lathe - http://imgur.com/ZRhWT
- Small CRT TV, approx. 15" - http://imgur.com/krOeL
- Three window-mount air-conditioning units (we have no place to mount
these, so if they're yours please take them home) - http://imgur.com/y5EVg
- Large white table - we are at capacity for tables and useful furniture
now, without resulting in making the space look cluttered. Someone please
take this and give it a good home. http://imgur.com/IZKY4
- Numerous flatscreen monitors - some are owned by people, many are still
useful, but not all are needed. If you plan to take a monitor, post a photo
and clear it with the membership first. http://imgur.com/NX5za

To reiterate, in my opinion I feel that we should not be accepting any more
furniture of any kind for the space, EXCEPT one more folding table for the
classroom. We have lots of shelving now and almost everything at SkullSpace
has found a place. The user-rented desks still need to be set up near the
back of the space and I will be treating this as a priority as it will be a
considerable source of income for us.

More to come.
