I'm starting my final push in my computer sell off project which I had started as a computer give away project at the 1.0 space, and naturally didn't want to move to 2.0 as November ground to a halt.

After around 20 computers were given away, I switched gears and turned this into a sell off project to help compensate for the costs of parts and time -- and now the costs of transport, storage, and possibly waste disposal. All of this I find more palatable than just tossing good equipment.

25% of my net profit is being donated to Skullspace.

I mentioned before that I was going to put Windows on the machines with OEM tags in order to make them easier to sell. I've since learned that the licensing doesn't allow for that -- an OEM license sticker *MUST* be paired with an installation derived from install media that comes from the OEM itself. Unfortunately, hard drives that may have come with re-install partitions no longer had them.

Thank you Microsoft for making computer refurbishment with your OS impossible without signing up for your special refurb licensing program.

So, I'm pricing to clear. $15 machines with at least 1G DDR memory and all YouTube capable. The advert that I'm putting in paid and free online classifies is below. Pass it along to folks you know.
