I know it's a problem and I/we all appreciate your pushes to fix it, but instead of wasting time with the cumbersome/silly/insecure lockbox idea, which will require a few days anyways, please just wait that time, by which I should have the chance to run a higher-gauge / non-damaged cable to the front door so the strike works reliabily again.
I apologize for the time this is taking, I just have an insanely busy schedule at the moment as I'm trying to finish a lot of backed-up jobs before the new year.
