A parts store like this was one of the things that seemed like a common idea is the electronics workshop survey I did. Other suggestions were better organization of the existing parts (either a parts database or sorted and labelled parts bins) as well as keeping the bench tidy after you leave the space (the bench is almost always covered in half finished projects these days).
