Yeah, we’re talking old GMA, probably about the power of a bad netbook. Or
maybe slightly better than a bad netbook.
At any rate, that’s about all the urging you need to bring in a card. Most
anything is better than what’s running on-board in the Skullotron.

I don't know what card that is, also the 4000 is actually nice compared to
previous Intel On board graphics, but I think that the Mobo in the Skull-o-Tron
is an intel
Pentium socket.

Well ill tag an nvidia quaddro 4000 pci-e card to the list of "$2500 graphics

If anyone needs it (for things that require quaddro or fire-gl cards like
remotefx)

I had bought a Radeon HD 2600 or so back in 2008, for something like

Hoorah for the blistering pace of technological advancement!
Right now, the Skullotron is running on-board graphics. I was thinking
of using the card from my mangled Terraria machine (above the member storage,
last I checked), since I don’t really need it anymore, but I’m not sure how
powerful the card is—I had scavenged it from scraps I found back in 2012 when I
was trying to find something that could run Terraria well. Bring yours,
compare, and try to get one or the other working in the Skullotron.

Subject: [SkullSpace-Discuss] Old graphics card
It occurred to me that I have an old, unused, graphics card from about
2008, I think it was a 3870 ATI, I bought it and a 9800 and started with the
NVIDEA, and I never looked back, I am thinking about bringing it in to put in
the Skull-o-Tron. I don't know if it has enough power. Let me know what you
guys think.
