I think Ken is talking about the two Pizza box servers (single 1U) they are not "Blades" more "Blade-like" or "Blade-y"
Depending on the make/model some of this generation has a SATA interface and they generally can take any sata drive. If your talking SCSI your looked into IBM drives for IBM servers, in some cases I've seen the connection is proprietary to brand and you maybe able to retrofit a different SCSI drive into the drive cage, you will unleash a tone of potential grief trying to get the thing to boot, or even to configure properly.
