Subject: [SkullSpace-Admin] AVR Module Development

Good day,

I briefly talked with you folks at the comic convention, and I became
instantly interested in becoming part of your community. A friend and I
have been working on a prototype / idea that we wish to manufacture and
sell. We started with some Arduino Uno's, and we've pretty-much nailed the
core hardware and firmware for the module. However, we are struggling with
our audio and SD circuit add-ons. We started with the SimpleSDAudio
library, and we've started testing different speakers that we've found on
Digikey. The problem, though, is that we have no hardware experience in
this area (small electronics audio). We've been experimenting, but it's
slow going, and there isn't much help online, as most people tend to use
large speakers. Our goal is to have something as small and loud as an ipod
/ cell phone speaker setup. We've tried some amplification circuits
suggested, but we need some time to experiment and find a cheap, simple,
clear, loud, small audio circuit.

This is where I was thinking we could help each other out. We don't have
the time we need to test and experiment with different PWM audio circuits /
speakers. I was wondering if the group as a whole or some individual(s),
would be interested in researching, designing, and developing a sufficient
audio circuit for us. We'd pay for all of the parts, and we could agree on
a fee for the final product. It could be a prize competition, it could be
a project to help a hard-up individual make money, or it could be a project
to help pay for equipment or supplies for the group. I'm thinking I'd pay
parts plus $500 for a design that meets agreed-upon requirements.

I'm fairly open to options. I just don't have the time or expertise in
this area, and I'd rather support a local group if possible.

Let me know your thoughts! I've CC'd my partner, feel free to "reply-all".

Cheers,
Courtney
