Not even a full platform, because they’re all working together to dole out 
responsibilities, but maybe some relevant experiences (“I do accounting” or “I 
love community engagement”) so that we know who we need in order to build a 
good team.

Yes, I second the whole "platform" thing and feel that it should even be an 
entrance requirement.   

Not that I don't like getting to know people personally but I think a clearly 
stated goal of some kind is not an unreasonable thing to hope for.

To that end, why don't our newly electeds take a moment to blog/respond about 
their ideas and plans?
