Hm. That's part of the generation that - literally - put a black mark on APC's name. Perhaps the entire unit should be replaced, unless it's one of the few from that generation that *doesn't* eat batteries like candy... I vaguely recall this being discussed already, apologies for being too lazy to look in the archives.
