Hi, I have been having intermittent problems getting my wireless SB to connect to my slimserver. The problem happens when I've had the SB disconnected from power. Slimserver is running (either has been since it was working last or I restart it) and has no trouble with softsqueeze. I tell the SB to use wireless, keep the SSID that has been working... no encryption... it says connecting and quickly passes through to setting the ip address (which it doesnt do if I unplug the AP). I have DHCP, but have also tried a static ip. This part completes as well, though with DHCP it picks the last static address I set instead of what my DHCP server would naturally assign it- also the DHCP server's logs dont show it having obtained a lease. I cant ping the SB, but I dont think I've tried that when it was working either, so maybe it just doesnt respond to ping. I've tried killing slimserver and erasing all the config files I could find; powering/starting things in various orders. Yesterday after half an hour of this it suddenly worked again, but I'm back in the same place today since I unplugged it to take to a friend's house to show off. I dont think its interference related because I have the SB 2 feet from the AP right now.
