As I having been setting up my slim (5.4)/squeeze
(4.0) environment for some weeks, one specific issue
has raised up regarding the wma lossless -> wav
decoding.
I have ripped a set of cd's with Windows MP10 and when
I listen them with the system they sound like mono
recordings. I was wondering if the wma files are
missing some information and did conversions from wma
to both wav (with MS utility wmal2pcm) and further
from wav to flac => they both sound perfect with the
system.
Now I am wondering is this a feature with the
slimserver's decoder or with MP10 and have other
people had same experiencies.
I hope I can sort this up with the help of this forum.
