I had debated for a long time between a Roku and an SB. I liked the Roku because of its big display (supposedly you can telnet into the device and hack the display too), but in the end the most important thing was linux compatibility on the server side. That meant being able to run slimserver. However, Roku's not always going to guarantee compatibility with the latest slimserver. I may still get a Roku later for another room or save up for a Sonos when they support Ogg.
