By the way, the incorrect album information shows up even if I'm using "browse music folder" and I click on a song to see its meta info. Apparently this information is displayed from the database instead of being read directly from the song file. I verified (with metaflac) that the file had the correct tag info.
Seems to me that when you do click on a song file to examine its meta info, this info should always be extracted from the file itself, not the database/cache. That way you don't have to rebuild the whole database just to make sure that some minor change you just made to a tag was correct.
