I think I have a solution to this problem. All wma directories had a “hide from network” character at the end (e.g., c:\music$). I don’t think I’ve ever seen a problem like this before, but removing the “$” from the directory name seems to have resolved the problem. Odd that this isn’t an issue for mp3s but only WMA….
This is probably an issue for any file type for which we use an external decoder/transcoder - wma, ogg, flac, etc.
